Volksgiving is a new, annual event held by Volkswagen, which was initially created in 2018 as a promotional event to give back to loyal and valued customers. For 2019, they wanted to take it in a different direction, by giving back to their customers who volunteer in their communities. Using their social media channels, we asked followers to nominate VW owners who are also volunteers. The response was incredible - over 1300 nominations from across Canada! We then reviewed all nominations and invited 7 owners from the English market and 7 owners from the French market to attend two events - one in Toronto and one in Montreal. They thought that they were attending an owner appreciation event, but we invited there to surprise them with a huge thank you for being more than just VW owners.
